Converting a Print Catalog to an Interactive Web Catalog Part 2

This is part 2 of my tutorial on converting a print catalog to a web catalog with interactions. Part 1 can be found here. Part 3 can be found here.

Your file should be similar to the one pictured below, notice I have my layout adjusted for button placement. If you choose to add height or width to your canvas yours will be a bit different. The point is the file needs to be ready to add buttons at this point of this tutorial.

Converting a Print Catalog to an Interactive Web Catalog

I have received questions about how I did the interactive catalog posted here.
Due to the details it requires to do this kind of project, I thought it was way easier if I posted a tutorial on the subject. Your project may be similar or different but this tutorial will at least give you a good foundation on how the process works. I expect this tutorial to be long so it will most likely be divided up into more than one post. Please note that this project was the first time I ever used InDesign for anything, so there are probably some things I don’t know about or know how to use. For this tutorial though I am just going to show you what I personally did. With that said, let’s get started.
